Rise of the Celts
A demo for a mobile educational history game which lets players build up their own mesolithic settlement in Ireland 8000AD. The game is designed to help Irish junior certificate students remember key aspects of their history curriculum.

BRIEF
Players must glean some form of enjoyment or satisfaction from playing the game, thus ensuring they continue to play until it is complete. Players must be more knowledgeable in the area of the junior certificate history syllabus - Our roots in ancient civilisation - after completing the prototype.
I created this game over 6 months using illustrator and Blender for the assets and Unity and C# for the programming. Players must use their settlers to collect resources so that they can build structures, train more settlers and research technology.
Having never used Unity, Blender or C# this was a steep learning curve and a big challenge. The final product hit all of the aims of the original proposal and the project was awarded first class honours.
